Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water

Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water removes makeup and leaves nourished skin. It is gentle and it doesn't sting the eye.

After a long day, the last thing you’d want is to spend ages to remove your makeup, right? Also who doesn’t like quick and easy makeup removing. Micellar waters are perfect for it and they are just fuss free. How about a micellar water with oil, maybe Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing water?

Whoever came up with micellar water have all my appreciation. Even though it is some kind of water, it makes everything easier, don’t you think so? Garnier Micellar Water is one of my favourite makeup removing products and when I ran out of it, I thought I’d give Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing water a try. It is for Dry/Sensitive skin, since I have oily/combination skin, it was a tricky decision but hey, since I double cleanse, it can’t be that bad.

Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water claims to remove all makeup, even waterproof (I can’t say anything about it as I don’t really use waterproof products), get rid of all the impurities and leave the skin nourished. Good claims but does it really live up to its claims?

In order to combine the water and the oil, you have to shake it well! Give it a good shake and then quickly pour it onto the cotton pad, then you’re ready to clean your makeup. Due to the density difference, water and oil separates quickly, that’s why you have to be quick.

It cleans the makeup as good as the original micellar water, maybe even better. Since oils are good at dissolving the makeup, it gets easier and quicker to remove the makeup. I have sensitive eyes and it doesn’t irritate or sting my eyes, which is great. After cleansing the makeup, your skin will be really soft and nourished. It is more nourishing than the original one. Good thing is after cleansing, there’s no greasy feeling and next morning you won’t have those panda eyes. If you use oil or oil based cleansers, then you will love it.

If you’re in hurry in the morning, you can use it as your morning cleanser too. When I use it that way, I make sure to wait a few minutes before I apply other skincare products so my skin doesn’t get oily. This micellar water has sweet floral scent, it is not overwhelming and it doesn’t linger so even if you are not a fan of scented cleanser, this won’t bother you.

If you love the original micellar water, you should also give this a try.

Have you used Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water before? What’s your favourite cleanser?

I lovee facial oils at the moment and I always use the Soap and Glory Micellar Water to remove my make-up, when I run out I will definitely have to try this one! x

    • Sometimes I use oils to remove makeup and I love how good they clean the makeup. This oil infused micellar water is good, I’d highly recommend it x

  • Ever since I started using micellar water, I can’t imagine using different make up removal.

    http://www.mydailywear.co.uk

  • I have tried all of them, but this is by far my favourite! I have really dry and sensitive eyes, so removing waterproof mascara was a pain, but not anymore. I use this in the morning as well, paired with my moisturizer it did wonders for my skin.

    • I don’t wear waterproof mascaras so I don’t know how effective it is, one time I might give it a try. I love how soft my skin feels after using this one.

  • I haven’t tried a single micellar water so maybe this is just the gateway one that I need! Especially since I have very dry skin in the fall and winter months.

    • It is really good, it cleans the makeup without leaving anything behind. x

  • Do you think this would work on blemishes?

    http://www.awakebynight.com

    • I don’t think it works on blemishes. I use it as a first cleanse then use some cleanser to get rid of any impurities.

sounds good.. but this is not available here. Nice review 🙂

  • I’m a big fan of the original Garnier micellar water but lately I’ve been using the oil infused one and, unfortunately, I don’t like it as much as the original one. I don’t like any oil based cleanser on my eyes and I only use it to remove my eye makeup so I’m really forcing myself to use it up. x

    • I like oil based cleansers, like TBS chamomile oil, so this one isn’t bad and I love how gentle it is. But for fuss free makeup cleaning. I still prefer the original one x

  • I tried the original one of this range and liked I but still prefer Bioderma because of the ingredients 🙂

  • I’ve heard such great things about micellar water. Must give this a go, does it work well on eye make up?

    • I don’t use waterproof mascaras, so I don’t know how effective it is with them but the rest is perfect, it cleans the eye makeup perfectly.

  • Never tried this but I love the Garnier oil based/bi phase waterproof eye makeup remover, so effective!

    • If you smell it before you shake (so basically the oil), it has sweet floral scent. Once you shake it well, the scent fades however you can still smell it a little. I don’t really like the scented skincare products but this scent doesn’t really bother me.

  • I’ve read good stuff about the original micellar water before so it was interesting to read about this version.
