We should appreciate the person who came up with an eyeshadow stick idea! They are lazy girls’ best friends; they are so easy to apply if you are in hurry. There are so many on the market, some are really good and some are really disappointing. How about KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow?

Ela’s KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick Review

KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow was the first product I’ve tried from KIKO. I hardly knew anything about the brand and this eyeshadow stick except the reviews I read online. I never had the best luck with cream eyeshadows, so it was a tricky decision to order it, but I am glad that I did!

KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow in 04 Golden Chocolate is a warm chocolate brown with golden gold sparkles or I can even say gold glitters. These shimmers/glitters change the brown colour into a something really pretty, when the sun hits your face you see them shining. This shade is ideal for brown smoky eye makeup, I also apply it on my bottom lash line, it really looks pretty! I like neutral/brown shades on my eye makeup, so if you are the same then I am sure you will like it too.

I was never a fan of cream eyeshadows before, because of having oily eyelids. If you have oily eyelids too then you will know the struggle of finding a cream eyeshadow, which will actually last on your eyes without creasing or fading away. After trying KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow, I start to believe that there are really good cream eyeshadows for people with oily eyelids too. They are supposed to last up to 8 hours, which is really good! This eyeshadow actually stays on for hours without creasing and budging. Isn’t it great?

The formula of these eyeshadows is really impressive; it is soft, creamy and pigmented. Whether you use your fingers or a fluffy blending brush, they are easy to apply and really blendable. Depending on how intense you want your eye makeup, you can just build it up easily, but you have to be quick at applying/blending it, it sets so fast that you won’t be able to budge it afterwards!

The packaging is a good one too. It comes in a black sleek packaging and the colour of the eyeshadow is shown on the back of the stick. All you need to do is twist it up and apply it, then you are ready to go!

They are said to be the dupes of By Terry Ombre Black Star Eyeshadows (texture and colour wise), however, since I haven’t tried By Terry ones (I’m not sure if I would want to pay £29 for an eyeshadow stick) I can’t say anything about it. After a few Google searches, I can confirm that they almost look the same, so a good job KIKO!

It is on sale now and it is more than half the price, if I were you I wouldn’t miss that chance and grab a few shades on the KIKO website! These cream eyeshadow sticks have one of the best quality and I am really amazed with the end result. 37 Burgundy, 39 Dark taupe or maybe other shades, there are many different shades and they all look so pretty!

Have you tried any KIKO Long Lasting Eyeshadow? If so, which colour is your favourite?
