Rihanna Rebl Fleur Perfume

Rihanna Rebl Fleur Eau De Parfum

I’ve never been a fan of celebrity scents, as it always feels like they are somehow just copies of the well-known fragrances and most of them also smell the same. I’ve only tried a few celebrity fragrances. The first one was Fantasy from Britney Spears. The bottle is so adorable and I remember that I liked the smell too. Rihanna Rebl Fleur is the last celebrity fragrance I got.

Rihanna Rebl Fleur Perfume Review

Rihanna Rebl Fleur is the first fragrance of Rihanna and I wasn’t really sure which one to pick when I got this one, but I decided on this and I am actually happy with my decision.

Rihanna Rebl Fleur is not ideal for hot days. Well, let’s put it this way… If you like fresh, floral scents, which aren’t overwhelming then you wouldn’t want to wear this once it starts to get warm, but you can wear it as a transition scent. I prefer to wear it in autumn and winter. The mix of fruity, sweet and oriental notes makes it an ideal scent for colder days. Peachy fruity top notes and then musky and vanilla mix of oriental base notes will give you that classy but sexy smell at the same time. Would it be weird to say a sexy scent?

It can be an everyday scent or if you don’t like wearing sweet scents during the day, then this can also be ideal for evening use or special occasions. It is a long lasting fragrance, a few sprays will last all day long once it sets on your skin. Every perfume reacts different on different skins, one can be long lasting for one but not for the other… so in my experience I could still smell it at the end of the day and it lasts for a few days on the clothes.

I am attracted to pretty things, as I already mentioned in my previous post NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. First thing that caught my attention with Rihanna Rebl Fleur is the bottle. It is sleek and pretty. That black ribbon type details makes it look different. Even though the bottle looks different than most of the perfumes, it is definitely not travel friendly. The bottom of the bottle is big, so if you like carrying small perfumes around then you would hate to carry it around.

Since I like wearing sweet, woody scents in colder days, this is one of the perfumes I reach to. Getting compliments on your perfume choice is a good feeling.

What are your thoughts about celebrity fragrances? Have you tried Rihanna Rebl Fleur before?

This really is a pretty bottle! I’m the same as you though, I’m always a bit unsure of celebrity fragrances which is bad as I know there are plenty that really do get into the process! It’s also really good that it lasts all day!

    Musings & More

    • I still prefer to stick to my trusted brands. Once in awhile it is good to check different ones.

  • Sheridan Grady

I know what you mean about celeb fragrances but this one sounds lovely! I used to loooove Britney Spears when I was younger hahaa x

  • I’ve never tried celebrity scents before, I’m always suspicious with that kind of marketing operation yet this one truly sounds lovely and I’m starting to wear more and more woody scents at the moment!

    • I’m not a fan of celebrity scents, I still prefer my trusted brand. Good marketing strategy works most of the time.
I’ve been loving woody scents since the beginning of Autumn, it is perfect for colder days.

  • Love the bottle and shape. It sounds nice. Gemma x

  • I’m not very into celebrity fragances, but after reading this, I’d love to give to this fragance in particular, a try! I really like the packaging, it’s different! Hope you have a fantastic week, Ela! xx

    nice review lovely! 🙂

  • Sounds nice! I’m a sucker for good packaging in case of perfumes… I love Harajuku Lovers and Tokidokki not only because of their cute packaging but also because they’re smells good..

    Neha | http://www.beautespark.com

    • Packaging always takes my attention, but bot all the pretty ones smell good 🙂

  • I haven’t tried this but I love that it’s long lasting! I like perfumes that you can still smell by the end of the day 🙂

Although lately I’ve been struggling with perfumes as my usual go-tos I’ve just gone completely off with being pregnant! Most artificial scents are too overpowering for me sadly 🙁

    Away From The Blue Blog

    • Stay away from perfumes! Since it is hot there, everything would be overwhelming for you so it is best not to use any till you get the littl one 🙂

      • haha yeah I only wear it a couple of times a month now instead of every day – my likes and dislikes of scents change too quickly now!

  • I haven’t tried any celebrity scent I remember, but I used to be into these “sexy scents” when I was younger. Probably too young to wear them. These days I go for lighter fragrances during daytime, fruity one in the summer and save the deeper ones for a night out (read: never).

Libra, Loca: Beauty, Baby and Backpacking

    • Lighter fragrances don’t seem to last in winter, so I mostly use deeper ones that hen it is cold. However in summer, I’m all a bout light scents which smells fresh.
Maybe once you have your baby, you might use the deeper ones more 🙂

      • That may be, I don’t know how my preferences will change once he is born. They sure did change with the first one.

  • Chloe Barnes

Haven’t heard about this before but it sounds lovely <3

    Chloe xx

  • The ribbon detailing on the bottle is really different, I like it!

  • The bottle is stunning and it sounds lovely. Great that it is long lasting and something I will be checking out 🙂

    Pams Stuff and Things

    • Bottle is one of the main reasons I picked it up 🙂

  • rae

  • Kiki Rampone

I don’t tend to wear perfumes, but the bottle is so pretty! Lovely review 🙂

  • I’ve never tried any celebrity perfume, maybe because I only value branded ones – one of the only little luxuries that I can afford haha. However the smell is very intriguing, I can’t seem to imagine what it smells like (obviously it’s hard to ‘smell’ something based on a description’), but I might go and have a sniff just to satisfy my curiosity! As you said, the bottle is super pretty as well, somehow sophisticated!

    • I prefer the branded ones too. I rather pay extra quids for luxurious one 🙂 x

  • Eleanor Hughes

I’m similar in not having tried many celebrity perfumes, sometimes the packaging can look a bit tacky but the bottle of this perfume looks very elegant and high end

The Lipstick, The Girl and Her Wardrobe

    • Some of them just look good, but doesn’t smell good at all. So it is all about the packaging.

  • Great review, i had no idea she had a perfume.

  • I have never tried any celebrity perfumes. Love this bottle though!

  • That is a very pretty bottle. I’ve never tried celeb perfumes. But they seem to be very popular. Having your own scent is the true statement to make!

    xx Yasmin

    • i like trying new scents, however I can only rely on my trusted scents. x

  • Not weird to say a sexy scent at all, I always use that to describe deeper, sweet fragrances haha. I quite like the sound of this from your description so will look out for it next time I’m out shopping. The bottle is cute too x

    Beauty with charm

    • I’m not really into sexy scents, however it is good trying different scents. xx

  • Sorana Nistor

I love deep sweet scents !!!I bet i would love this perfume !

  • I haven’t tried many Celebrity scents as a lot of celebs sell branded goods but it’s hard to know how the quality they will actually be, this perfume sounds really good and long lasting though 🙂

    Velvet Blush

    • Most celebrity scents smell the same, so I am not really into them. Packaging caught my attention with this one 🙂

  • Thanks for providing such great details and info on this perfume, it sounds wonderful! I’ve personally never tried a celebrity perfume because I just feel it’s like a Christmas album, they all have to do it, so what really makes them unique and special?! However, I’ve heard such amazing things about Britney Spears’ Fantasy for years and years, so I do suppose it must smell good. What I’ve been reaching for all fall and winter long is Marc Jacobs’ Dot, omg, I LOVE it! Again, thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

    • Agree with you! Once one creates a perfume, others have to do that too. MJ perfumes smell so good, I’ve only tried a few and I really like them.
      Have a lovely day x

  • I can’t remember if I’ve smelt this before but the packaging looks lovely!

    Danielle’s Beauty Blog

  • I am with you on never being attracted to celebrities perfumes, it somehow comes across as a touch cheap in my mind. I think I’ll stick to my normal perfumes. Great review, Ela and you do a great job describing the scent.

    Shireen | Reflection of Sanity

    • I don’t think I will be trying other celebrity perfumes, unless there’s a unique one 🙂 I rather spend that money on my trusted perfumes.

  • Oh man, Fantasy by Britney Spears brings back some memories haha! I’ve never tried this before but I love the bottle! I too am attracted by pretty things so this would definitely catch my eye! Something every woman want in their bag.

  • I love sweet scents with a little edge to them! I haven’t tried this one myself, but I think I would love it. I’m never afraid to buy celebrity fragrances either, as I’ve owned quite a few in the past. Which I would also, always get compliments when wearing them too.

  • Kay (shoesandglitter)

Yay, I love perfume posts!!!! 😀 I have and LOVE Reb l Fleur. <3 Is it weird that I think that it's actually quite suitable for summer, though? Yes, it is heavy, but there is just something really exotic about it (I think it's the coconut note) that makes me think of warm tropics! <3 I love wearing this one all year round, but ESPECIALLY in the summer. x Lovely post, and I hope you're having a fab week so far, my darling!

    • I prefer really fresh and floral scents in summer so this one is so overwhelming for me, that’s why I use it when it is kinda cold:)

I agree with not being crazy about celebrity perfumes. This bottle is really beautiful though! Thanks for your honest review. I’ll have to smell it next time I’m at sephora and see if it’s for me 🙂

    • Celebrity perfumes all smell the same, I wonder why they copy each other 🙂

  • It is definitely a pretty bottle. Actually I didn’t know she had a perfume.

Angie | Chocolate & Lipstick | Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle Blog

  • I agree with you on the fact that things really work differently on different skins. From makeup, to skincare, to lipsticks and perfumes. And I’m not usually a big celebrity scents fan as it’s never really them who actually picks anything and at times they don’t even like the scent, or use it at all. But this one looks fabulous (the packaging omg) so I’d definitely try it out. It looks too beautiful not to. I’m a big fan of the Amor Amor one though, it’s my kind of thing.

    Ella Pinto xx

    • I guess it was on sale when I got it, so I didn’t pay the full price, which I wouldn’t do that anyway. I don’t like how most of the celebrity perfumes smell the same, they don’t have any uniqueness. Amor Amor used to be my favourite perfume, I still wear it from time to time. xx
