Don’t you like a good skincare product that gives what it promises? Skincare products that clarify the skin, give you younger and brighter looking skin, as well as healthy glow… I am sure these are not much to ask, right? Vichy released three face masks which aims to transform your skin. Can Vichy Mineral Masks give you what you want?

I love face masks, even though sometimes I might be lazy to apply them. I try to have at least one pampering session in a week. Pampering session without a face mask is not a full pampering session. How do you like your pampering sessions?

Vichy Mineral Masks combines the minirals from earth, water and rock to create three masks which aims on different needs of the skin. All of these masks have one thing in common and it is Vichy Reminalizing Thermal Water. For so long I thought getting water in a spray can was just waste of money, however, I was so wrong. I don’t know what exactly thermal water does, but it makes my skin feel healthier. Now I can’t skip thermal water in my skincare routine. It is also suggested to finish off the mask application with thermal water then carry on with your regular skincare routine.

Vichy Mineral Masks

Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask*

Let’s start with my favourite mask, even the name is music to my ears… Double glow! Double glow peel mask has watery gel formula and feels so light on the skin. Main ingridients are AHA (alpha-hydroxy acids) to remove the dead cells, volcanic rock to exfoliate and Vitamin cg+ Mannose to brighten, hydrate and restore the edpidermis of the skin. All these ingridients sound promising don’t they? They actually do what they claim to do. I love how soft, brighter my dull looking skin gets after using it. To test it, I also used it on husband as well and he couldn’t stop touching his face afterwards. It must be good then!

When you aply it, you get a little bit of tingly feeling, it gets better in time. As you wash it off, you feel these tiny volcanic rocks which exfolite the skin. Husband has sensitive skin and it didn’t irritate him, so I could say this mask is suitable for everyone. If you want exfoliating and brightening mask then you should check this out.

Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask*

I have love&hate relationship with clay masks. They are good at absorbing the excessive oil, however, some of them ends up drying my skin. Having oily skin is already a problem, I don’t want extra skincare problem. Last clay mask I tried was L’Oreal Detox Mask after that mask, my skin felt so tight and dry. I was a little bit worried about this clay mask, but luckily after the first try I was relieved. It has almost similar consistency, maybe a little bit lighter. Main ingridients are Kaolines&bentonite clays for the sebum control, aloe vera for soothing and hydrating and allantoin to soothe the damaged skin.

This mask really purifies the oily skin and leaves you with matte looking skin. After the application, skin doesn’t feel dry or tight. This mask is suitable for oily/combination skin, I think it would be a little bit drying for dry/sentive skins. If you’re looking for a good clay mask, then I’d highly recommend it.

Vichy Mineral Masks combine the supercharged minerals of earth, water and rocks to give brighter and healthier skin. - Double Glow Peel Mask is exfoliating and brightening. Pore purifying clay mask is for controlling the excessive oil and tightening the pores.

I still haven’t tried the Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask, however, it is next on my list. When the season changes my skin gets dehydrated so I always need an extra kick. Also how cool packaging is! Caps have mirrors on it, it makes them look extra pretty.

Have you tried Vichy Mineral Masks yet? How’s your skin dealing with the changing weather? Have you used any thermal water spray? What are your thought about it? Is it useless and you find it actually working on your skin?
