Are you also struggling with dull looking hair? Isn’t it really hard to get your hair healthy again once it loses the healthy glow? This is one of the things I’ve been struggling a lot, especially last year. If you have the same problem, you might want to check out Herbal Essences Shampoo Beautiful Ends.

This time I actually didn’t discover it by myself but my fiancé did. I was complaining about how unhealthy my hair looked, so when he saw Herbal Essences Shampoo Beautiful Ends range in Boots, he picked it for me. He also really liked the smell of it.

After a disappointing experience with Herbal Essences Clearly Naked range, Schwarzkopf Extra Care Moisture Gloss range and Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Hyaluron Damaged Hair Filler Repair range have been also really unsatisfying for me too. These products weighed down my hair and my hair never felt clean. Have you ever had that feeling? My hair was looking really unhealthy and no matter what I did I couldn’t get it back to how it was before.

Herbal Essences Shampoo – Beautiful Ends Review

Let’s start talking about Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends! First of all, they smell divine, they have sweet&fruity pomegranate scent and when I leave the shower, the whole place smells like this shampoo. If you used Herbal Essences products before, you would know they have really good smells. The smell might not be as long lasting as Herbal Essences Clearly Naked, but I am fine with it. I wash my hair every other day so I can still smell it.

After the first wash, I was able to notice the difference on my hair. It felt softer and looked shinier, which my hair was lacking of for quite a long time. My hair has a nice shine and also feels really soft. Apparently, this range is good for split ends and good at preventing them, I can’t say much about it since I hardly have split ends at the moment, maybe it is preventing me having them? Who knows!

One thing I don’t like about it is after one day, I can feel my hair getting greasy then starts looking flat. I have oily and straight hair, and I’ve always had that problem with other products, so I wonder when I will find a shampoo that won’t ever do that to my hair. Maybe I am a special case.

Overall, even though my hair starts feeling oily after a day, I really like how silky soft my hair feels and this shampoo is really good at restoring the shine. If your hair is feeling dry and lacking of shine then I would recommend this range for you.

Have you tried Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends range? Is there any product you would recommend for oily and flat looking hair?

I haven’t tried this, but after reading your review, I think I’ll give it a miss and stick to other shampoos in the Herbal Essences range! Love the honesty in this review. My hair is susceptible to products like this making it greasy and flat soon after washes!

    • Even tho it is such a good shampoo in terms of shine and softness it gives but it is not the best for people with greasy hair.

  • My hair is very dull at the moment and needs cutting and colouring so I anything that can improve it would be amazing. Unfortunately this brand makes my scalp so badly irritated as do most shampoos and I have to stick to one particular brand. Gemma xx

    • It gives such nice and softness but I hate to have oily hair after the first day. xx

I tried it years ago and it made my hair feel tacky. wonder if it’s different now they’ve changed the bottle!

New post is up on my blog, take a look! Thank you 😉

    • Herbal essences shampoos are good and really affordable.

  • I am also struggling with my hair, it’s the worst it’s ever been to be honest and I feel like giving up! I will definitely try this range after reading how well it’s working for you, plus I think I will love the fruity scent x

    • You should give it a try, it really gives noce glow and softness. xx

  • I used Herbal Essence a very long time ago when they first came into the market in Malaysia and I hated the overpowering scent. And like Pantene, it made my hair really dry but it could be the water in Malaysia is different? I’ve never tried it here in Canada though but I’ll keep this range in mind. Great review!

    • Water makes a big difference depending on the chlorine level. I was able to feel the difference between Turkey and the UK. I just like how my hair looks healthy again but I hate that it gets oily straight away(I have greasy hair so it is almost impossible to find that will help me).

  • I always love the scent of herbal essences products & whilst I love the sound of how soft your hair feels when using this, the fact that it feels oily only a day later would put me off! xx

    • I have oily hair so it might be the reason. I will use it until my hair feels healthier then I will switch it for oily hair ones. x

  • I found any Herbal Essences shampoo dried my hair out in the long run due to the high amount of sulfates, even though it looked lovely in the first place (probably due to the high amount of silicones). Now I haven’t tried one in ages, so it could be that they changed the formula and ingredients in the meantime.

To be honest, my number one tip for dry ends and greasy roots would be dry shampoo on your scalp and oils for the ends. I only wash my hair every four days (depending on the weather, working out etc.) and it really helped with dryness.

Libra, Loca: Beauty, Baby and Backpacking

    • Before this I tried clearly naked from herbal essences (sulphate, silicone, paraben free), my hair felt really unhealthy and dry at the ends. This is the first shampoo that helped me with restoring the shine of my hair.
It has been so many years since I’ve used dry shampoo and I haven’t had the best experience with it. Nowadays there are so many different brands out in the market so I think I will give it a try again. Any recommendations?

      • Batiste is a safe bet that doesn’t break the bank, I keep buying it whenever I am in the need of a new bottle fast. Other than that I am currently testing the Klorane one, which is said to be more gentle than others and I like it a lot, but it is more expensive. And a lot of people rave about Living Proof from Cult Beauty, but I haven’t tried that one myself.

  • I have tried Herbal Essence before but i think it depends on your hair type.
Mine doesnt work so well but there are some that works well.
    Love your review.

    • Totally agree with you. I am sure it wouldn’t make dry hair greasy after a day. It is a good shampoo tho, I like it.

  • Karina Guimarães Ribeiro

My hair is oily on the scalp and all the rest is dry, so it is hard for me find some good every day products like this.
I never try Herbal Essences, it seems very nice, your review makes me curious about it!

    • If you ever see this shampoo in the market, I would highly recommend it. It gives really nice shine and hair feels softer. xx

  • I haven’t tried this range but have tried many others from Herbal Essences and while they all smell so nice I find that all of them make my scalp itchy and I get dandruff when using them 🙁 x

    Mummy’s Beauty Corner

    • Some of their shampoos also make my scalp itchy too. It is always a hit or miss with herbal essences. x

  • Urgh its so annoying that your hair feels greasy after a day or two. By the way, I’ve tagged you in the Lip Product Addict Tag, hope that’s okay ♥

    • I have oily hair so it might be the reason. Thanks for tagging me, I will be checking it today:)

  • My hair gets oily very quickly too, it can get so annoying, especially because it’s so long! I never used Herbal Essences, but my hubby loves their shampoos 🙂

    • Washing it every other day gets annoying. I’m sure your hubbie’s hair smells nice 🙂

  • It’s pretty annoying when the hair gets oily so fast. My hair is dry but gets oily really quickly. I’ve never tested this range but used many products by this brand that I really liked! (:

    • This range is actually really good, it might not be really ideal for people with greasy hair but it gives really nice shine 🙂 x

  • I don’t think I’ve tried this before but the pomegranate scent sounds amazing, I love pomegranates! I used to love Loreal Elvive Light shampoo for my oily hair but they discontinued it 🙁

    Danielle’s Beauty Blog

    • I guess I used that shampoo too and it was really good. Isn’t it annoying when companies discontinue the good products 🙁

  • It sounds like you’re describing my hair too haha! Since the last time I cut it cut the ends have all dried out and it just doesn’t look right. This shampoo sounds like it could be the answer, although mines gets greasy super fast so that would be my only concern 🙂

    Velvet Blush

    • You should use it until your hair restores the shine and gets healthier, then you switch to one for oily hair:) this is what I am planning to do.

  • I have oily hair too! I also have the same problem with a lot of shampoos. They usually leave my hair greasy and flat by the end of the day! I use Suave’s Clairfying Shampoo. It’s really cheap but it cleans my hair well! It really doesn’t do much else than clean it however. My hair is somewhat soft and still pretty flat. That’s where dry shampoo comes to my rescue haha! I’m still looking for a product that won’t weigh my hair down!!

    • It is almost impossible to find a good shampoo for oily hair. I have been searching for a good one for so long but hardly had a chance. I don’t use dry shampoo but I am actually planning to change that, maybe it would help my hair.

    • They are not good for everyone but they smell good 🙂

  • Ah I love the scent of Herbal Essences products and especially how long lasting the smell is! This sound like a good product for my oily hair 🙂

    • They smell so good, they are really good at coming with amazing scents!xx

  • Great review! I’ve always loved the Herbal Essences’ scents. I try to wash my hair only 2x/week and I’ve found that HE makes my hair more oily and I can’t go as long without washing.

    • I have to wash my hair at least 3 times a week and it gets really annoying.

  • Glad that this works for you! I’ve tried the naked range (because ti was on special) and found it okay, but when I swap to other shampoos I realise how much softer my hair is. I’ve never tried any other Herbal Essences ones though, I should have a look for this next time I’m in store as I get split ends quite badly as I go so long between haircuts haha!

    Away From The Blue Blog

    • Naked range was one of the worst I’ve used, my hair got really unhealthy, at least this one gives really nice shine and makes my hair feel so soft. I wish it was ideal for oily hair.

  • Ooooh, I remember loving Herbal essences as a teenager because they smelled soooo good. I love the smell of pomegranate too! I might give this one a go after my current shampoo runs out (which is soon!). It’s currently from the Bumble and Bumble invisible oil range, which I really like – but it’s quite pricey!

    • It is not really ideal for oily hair but it really changed the condition of my hair, it definitely looks healthier:) xx

  • I use to use Herbal essences when I was younger but stopped using it after I dyed my hair.. I’ve used numerous shampoos and conditioners and I always seem to keep going back to Redken. I think it’s just a matter of finding the one that works best for you, like you did:-). I do remember Herbal Essences smelling amazing though. You mentioned that you find your hair getting greasy the following day.. do you wash your hair everyday? I find that when I get into the routine of not washing my hair every day and usually every 3rd my hair isn’t really greasy. anymore. it takes time, but try it! Great review:-)

    • I have to wash my hair every other day otherwise it gets really greasy and looks flat. I am still searching for the perfect shampoo which will make my hair healthy but not greasy. Herbal essences shampoos smell amazing, they come up with good scents 🙂

  • I have not used Herbal Essances for ages but I do remember liking them when I did, might have to try this one out!

    Pams Stuff and Things

    • Some of herbal essences shampoos are really good and some are bad, just hit or miss situation 🙂 it definitely made my hair look healthy. xx

  • It’s actually really cute that your beau got this for you, haha. I do use Herbal Essences when my usual shampoo runs out, but I’ve not tried Beautiful Ends yet. I’ve got pretty oily hair so I’m a bit iffy about trying it but I so need that soft, silky shine for my dead ends, ha!

    • You should use it until your hair gets silky shine then you switch back to your regular one. My hair definitely looks healthier and I like how soft it feels.

  • Oh, I may try this after I dye my hair as it looks so dry and dead. My favourite shampoo and conditioner is from Tresemme, their Instense Hydration ones. They also leave my hair silky and smooth, looking beautiful and shiny again.

I hope you have a great day, lovely ^^

    • Give it a try and you will see the difference it makes even after the first wash, it will feel softer and look shinier. Keratin range from tresemme is my favourite, it is really good.
Have an amazing week, sweetie. I hope your exams are going good xx

  • My family love this shampoo and conditioner but I don’t get on very well with it! they do smell amazing though 🙂 x

  • Ellie Adams

This sounds so fab as I definitely suffer with dry ends but my hair gets really oily too so I’d love to know what your favourite shampoo is for oily hair?

    • I am still looking for a good shampoo for oily hair, there are not many. Elseve elvive keratin range is really good and I think I will switch back to is after finishing this. xx

  • Nadia

Girlie, you don’t have split ends? That’s sooo amazing, I’m jelly! I’ve never tried this specific range but I do like Herbal Essences. I have the same issue about the day after hon. So far the only drugstore shampoo my hair is happy with is Dove Colour Radiance Shampoo. It’s nice and fresh on the next day and doesn’t go flat quickly so that’s nice. Have you ever tried it, hon? Hope you enjoy your weekend!

    • I try to avoid using hair straightener so I hardly get split ends 🙂 when I use it frequently, I can see how bad the ends get. Smell is always good with et all essences however they are not really ideal for oily hair, or the ones I’ve tried. It has been so long since I’ve used a shampoo from Dove, I will keep it in mind and make sure to check it. Thanks for the recommendation, Hun!
I hope you’re having an amazing week so far xx

Another fab review, hun! x x <3 I've tried the Herbal Essences products a few times but they didn't really work for me. I agree that they smell AMAZING, but they did leave my hair feeling a looking a little limp and flat. x Personally, I love the Oatmeal & Honey range by TIGI… It leaves your hair smelling absolutely fab, looking soft and gives it a healthy shine! x x x

    • TIGI’s range sounds amazing, I should add it to my list. Thanks for the recommendation, sweetie! I always struggle to find a good shampoo and I’m always trying different ones. It gets really annoying 🙁 xx

    • He shampoos always smell so good and most of them are really long lasting. This range is really good for restoring the shine and healthy looking hair. xx

  • I’ve never heard of this brand but anything that reduces split ends sounds amazing! I had a haircut just before Christmas, so I’m in an alright place at the moment but I’m sure they’ll come back. So maybe I should startto do something about them before the split ends come back 😀
