I read many good reviews and posts about Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 HR Eye Shadow and I wanted to give it a try. I didn’t want to get every colour I like and then get disappointed, so I only got two colours just to test it and see how long it lasts.

Maybelline color tattoo 24 HR Eye Shadow Review

I really like neutral, brown bronzy colours, so I got on and on bronze and then for a change I picked metallic pomegranate.  On and on bronze is really soft brown-bronze mix colour and looks really nice when you want a natural look, you can just build it up and make it as intense as you want. For me, it is an everyday wear colour; I don’t tend to wear colourful eyeshadows for daily use. On the other hand, metallic pomegranate is gorgeous. It has that lovely gold shimmers in it and I wouldn’t expect it to look the way it did when I wore it. Gold shimmers and pomegranate, purple colours complement each other so well. It changes colour depending on the light, once it might look brownie colour and other time it might looks really shimmery purplish colour. I can say that it was a good decision to pick that colour.

My eyelids get oily after a while and I don’t have much of luck with wearing eye shadow, especially cream eye shadows. It was a tricky decision to get cream eye shadows knowing that it might be a total disappointment. However I was wrong, when I wore it, it didn’t smudge or got creased on my lids. The funny thing is, the first time that I wore it, after a long night I got so tired that I fell asleep without taking off my makeup. Surprisingly, in the morning I still had that perfect eye makeup. So I was happy that I could rely on that product. I don’t have any eye primer, so I wonder how much longer it would last with it…
